When Bronte graduated with an accounting degree from Charles Sturt University in 2020, she was looking to start her career at an accounting firm that could mentor her and prepare her for a career involving taxation accounting and advisory. She found this at Accumen when she joined the team in early 2021.
Her 6 years’ experience in customer service prior to joining us, has enabled her to develop her communication, teamwork, organisation, and time management skills. These skills have proven extremely valuable when consulting with clients and understanding their needs.
Bronte has covered a lot of ground in her role as a graduate accountant, gaining experience in most specialty areas including business accounting and tax compliance. Her focus, since joining Accumen, has been in the taxation area where she has worked across a variety of industries.
Although Bronte is excited to continue to learn all aspects of the accounting industry, she has found a particular synergy in working with small business. She is inspired by the nurturing environment Accumen can provide them and enjoys seeing the impact that has on their growth. Providing guidance and support to a business to help them develop and achieve their goals gives her an immense sense of accomplishment.
Bronte loves working in the collaborative and supportive environment of Accumen. She believes our mentorship and experience provides her with a fantastic grounding to her skill development and an excellent base for furthering her knowledge and growing within her role.
Bronte is continuing her education and is currently undertaking the Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting.
