You will need to be

  • A gap year student on a break before embarking on a business or accounting degree or an under-graduate accountant currenting studying a business or accounting degree.
  • Seeking full time employment or part time if you are still completing your degree.
  • An Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, self motivated & mature minded.
  • Organised with a high attention to detail.

Your job will be

  • Bookkeeping including the recording & organisation of our business clients’ financial transactions.
  • Preparation of BAS Statements as well as other business reports & financial statements.
  • Preparation of tax returns.
  • Learning to use software like MYOB, Xero, Microsoft Excel and others.
  • Skill development in client relationships and working within a professional environment.

  • Hands-on skills & experience in client software such as Xero & MYOB.
  • Experience in preparing management reports, financial statements and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals.
  • Broad experience in working with small business owners.
  • Advanced organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a highly professional demeanour.
  • A self-starter that can work autonomously and part of a team.
