You will need to be

• A gap year student on a break before embarking on a business or accounting degree or an under-graduate accountant currenting studying a business or accounting degree.
• Seeking full time employment or part time if you are still completing your degree.
• An Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident.
• Positive, enthusiastic, self motivated & mature minded.
• Organised with a high attention to detail.

Your job will be

• Bookkeeping including the recording & organisation of our business clients’ financial transactions.
• Preparation of BAS Statements as well as other business reports & financial statements.
• Preparation of tax returns.
• Learning to use software like MYOB, Xero, Microsoft Excel and others.
• Skill development in client relationships and working within a professional environment.
• Being part of a great working culture in a caring team environment.

You will need to have: 

• An Australian CA qualification with at least 5 years experience in a quality professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge an experience in Australian tax law.
• A proven ability in managing client advisory and compliance.
• Experience in management reports, financial statements and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals & SMSFs.
• Hands-on skills & experience in client software including Xero & MYOB.
• Broad experience in working with private clients and small business.
• Advanced organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
